BestBullySticks.comHi folks!  Chewzy Charlie is giving away a $25 gift certificate to BestBullySticks.com!  BestBullySticks isn’t sponsoring this giveaway – I chose them and am offering the prize personally.  Through the power of social networking, they found out about my giveaway and contacted me about it.  I told them that the giveaway was my idea and I was therefore willing and happy to sponsor it myself.

    Thanks for the chance!

My dogs love beef knuckle bones. I would love for them to try the bully sticks.

  4. deanna says:

she likes dentasticks and rawhide skinny sticks – she hides them for a few hours, then finds then and enjoys
    xo

  5. G says:

Their favorite are red barn bully slices but they only last a couple minutes so I try to get other longer lasting things like bully sticks. My fur kids would LOVE to win this giveaway to get some great chews. I have eight dogs, including three rescues, one of which is a pit bull who can chew through ANY chew in a matter of minutes….lol. The others are all little dogs are are much easier on chews. Thank you for the chance to win this great prize for my babies.

    • Pam says:

Eight dogs?! Oh goodness! Good luck to you then!! You could definitely use some more chews! 🙂 Has your chewhound pit bull ever tried elk antlers? If you do try one, I suggest getting the largest size so that s/he can has to really work on it to get anywhere. I have a page all about antlers if you want to learn about them. If antlers make you nervous, you might try the largest size of Himalayan Dog Chews.

  6. Danielle Murgia says:

I make my own sweet potato jerky and it is not long lasting. They only last a few minutes.

  7. Amy Orvin says:

My 2 dogs love bully sticks, Pup-peroni sticks and beggin strips. Yes, they are devoured pretty fast. Although, they do enjoy every bite. They eat slower because they’re small dogs. Thank you for the giveaway!

  8. Heather S says:

I give my dogs long lasting chews only. I like to mix it up, sometimes bully sticks, antlers, raw bones, kongs filled with goodies. I never give any cooked bones.

  9. Theresa Spaid says:

My dogs love any chews. They love their treats no mater what I give them.

  10. sandy weinstein says:

my dogs favorite chews are lamb’s ears, beef taffy, and cow’s ears.

  11. Lisa F. says:

My dogs like beef or chicken basted rawhides. They’re usually gone within 15 minutes.

  12. I only have one pup that is into chewing things still. The others are too old. My pup’s favorite chew has to be bully sticks but they don’t last very long. She also likes Himalayan chews and of course rawhide. Thanks for the great giveaway!

    • Pam says:

Hi Charlotte! I stopped by your site and it’s beautiful!
Yeah, bully sticks never last as long as you wish they would, especially since they can be pretty pricey. Good luck!

  13. Susan Christy says:

My dogs love everything! And whatever they get, they eat in 2 seconds.

  14. Shelley P says:

My dogs love Good Buddy Mini Rolls. They are long lasting with the Chihuahuas but my bigger dogs chew them up quickly : )

    • Pam says:

I hadn’t heard of those… I had to look them up. I’m not a big fan of rawhide, but these are made in the USA by a good company, and they appear to be unbleached. So if were going to let the wieners have rawhide, these would seem like a good choice.

  15. Tiffany says:

Bella’s absolute favorite chews are the RedBarn Naturals Bully Slices. They can last awhile, or be gone relatively quickly depending on her moods. Kronos loves everything from plain rawhide bones to cow hooves, but since he is only 5 months old, he’s still figuring out what his absolute favorite chew is. Terra loves tendons or the puffy rawhides, and she can make them last quite awhile.

    • Pam says:

Hi Tiffany! I see that your site is under construction, but it looks like you have a star on the front page. S/he is beautiful!! Good luck winning some chewfunds for all your sweet babies!

  16. Crystal Rose says:

I haven’t bought any chews yet. My puppy does like pigs ears though.

  17. Cynthia Downer says:

They go bonkers for cow hooves.. I don’t feed them very often because of health/safety reasons but I feel bad denying them all together, because I haven’t found a chew that they enjoy more.. They last a really long time.

    • Pam says:

The wieners have never had cow hooves. They kind of freak me out, lol. Plus, I’m not sure if they’d be too hard for their small mouths. I don’t know… one of them can chew through pretty much anything… he could probably manage a hoof. Still though, I’d worry. But I bet the hooves are awesome for bigger dogs!

  18. Heather says:

My dog loves to chew on a sturdy braided bully stick.

  19. Layla loves chewies of all kinds 🙂

    • Pam says:

I stopped by your site… you’ve got a bunch of really cute stuff over there! Good luck winning some chewfunds for Layla!

  20. desiree says:

my pom is small so he like the chewy bone i get him and some of the greenie treats

  21. April says:

My dog loves bully sticks as well as marrow bones and knuckle bones!

  22. Christine Kozanda says:

the original bully sticks are a house fav

  23. larrielle says:

Bentley really enjoys rawhides. Once he has one he is in the zone!

  24. KateV says:

Shiloh’s favorite chews are Himalayan Chews and Bully Sticks (especially braided or otherwise thick knotted ones). He also likes deer antlers. He goes through chews pretty quickly, but these are the longest lasting (and safest/healthiest) I’ve found for him also.

  25. Helga says:

pig ears, but they don’t last long!

  26. Garth’s favorite chews are bully sticks. He especially likes the curly ones. They last maybe 15-20 minutes.

    • Pam says:

We haven’t tried the curly ones! They seem like they’d be awkward to chew. Maybe I should stop thinking on behalf of the wieners. I mean, just because *I* don’t want figure out the chew technique of a coiled up bull pizzle doesn’t mean they wouldn’t want to, lol.

  27. I asked Rita what her favorite chew is and she said, “I’m not sure. I’d need to do more research. I’ve only had a few bully sticks, so I’d need to have more to be sure. Also, I’d like to try a hoof and a pig’s ear. When can we continue our research???”

    • Pam says:

Ha! She’s a smart gal! Tell her I dun know nuffin’ bout dem hooves either. Seriously, the wieners haven’t tried those because I find them kind of creepy. Why other body parts are okay and hooves aren’t, I’m not sure… my reasoning rarely follows logic 😉

  28. Lydia Claire says:

We’ve switched Hannah to a grain free diet and her yeast related problems have disappeared. So I’m on the lookout for a grain free treat that she likes. =)

    • Pam says:

Yep, my wieners are strictly grain-free as well. Fortunately, there many grain-free treats on the market now. I may eventually compile a listing of the best grain-free treats I can find. I have reviewed many grain-free chews, but not specifically treats yet.
