Brief Time Away
My 77-year-old mother is in the ICU at the hospital. I will not be posting for at least several days, perhaps longer.
Thoughts and prayers are very, very much appreciated.
Thank you so much for stopping by and God willing, all will be back to normal or at least semi-normal soon.

Thank you Sue! Yes, I’m trying to be sure to eat and sleep and take care of myself. When my father was in the hospital before he passed, I barely did either of those. Trying to not worry 24/7.

Just now seeing this. Is your mom doing any better? Anything I can do to help?
She’s been moved from ICU to ICCU. It sounds worse, but I think it was more of a lateral move. She just needs more intensive cardiac monitoring. We’re all rotating our visits so she can get some rest, but it’s tough to not be there knowing what’s going on all the time. Thank you so much for asking about her!
