Thank you! We like yours too! And your cover photo makes us jealous… or at least me… I’d love to live near the water, but in an urban environment.

Someone looks worried and intrigued at the same time. Love the clearness of this photo. Nice contrast too.

    • Pam says:

Yep, you nailed it. It’s because he could smell all kinds of wildlife that he didn’t get to smell at home. He was totally interested and trepidatious at the same time. They really loved it there at the lake.

  5. Sweet!

The other day, there was a cloud in the sky that looked like Little Bear. (Not your Little Bear, but you know *the* Little Bear.) And I found out my hubs has no idea who Little Bear is! Going to have find one of my Little Bear books and make him read it. (The hubs had a deprived childhood!)

    • Pam says:

Ha! The funny thing is… he wasn’t named after *the* Little Bear on purpose, and it actually didn’t occur to us at the time that everyone would of course think that. Because why wouldn’t they?
But really, we don’t know where it came from. I think before we had really decided on a name, we called him sugar bear as a nickname and somehow that morphed into LittleBear and it just stuck. We rarely said LittleBear to him, though. Just Bear. Only LittleBear when talking about him. Who calls a dachshund Bear, anyway? Us <-- weirdos, lol.

  6. Sweet photo 🙂

  7. Hi! Its very nice to meet you! Love Dolly

    • Pam says:

Hi Dolly! It’s nice to meet you too… again. 😉 We’ve met before! Well, my mom has blabbed at your blog before, anyway. Yesterday was our (the wieners) first time to blab there 🙂

  8. Such a beautiful picture!

    Hugs,

Bet little Bear loves it at the lake house whether it is yours or not!

  10. Even though it’s not your lake house–yet–Little Bear, you look very much at home! Happy Day After Black and White Sunday (I’m a little behind ;-))!

    • Pam says:

Yes, he really loved it there. Made us wish we managed more trips with him while we still could. But the driving part was stressful, so that’s why we didn’t travel too much with him.
Being behind is okay! I’m *always* behind, especially on B & W Sunday!
